Chill Vibes Only: Kona Ice Keeps Tax Day Cool in Klamath Falls with National Chill Out Day
WHAT: To provide relief from the tax season hustle, Kona Ice is back again for its annual National “Chill Out” Day. The tropical-themed shaved ice truck will be stationed in the Grocery Outlet parking lot in Klamath Falls, offering complimentary cups of shaved ice to all visitors.
WHY: National “Chill Out” Day is Kona Ice's way of helping the nation unwind amidst the tax season frenzy. It’s a small gesture with a big impact, bringing smiles and relaxation to communities with free treats. Each Kona truck participates in community fundraisers, donating a portion of their earnings back to local schools and organizations. Through partnerships with schools, youth sports leagues, and local organizations, Kona Ice has contributed over $180 million back to the communities it serves.
